Interception of a drone in Jordan that was targeting Israel

On the afternoon of October 31, an unmanned aerial vehicle was intercepted in the sky over Jordan, heading towards Israel.

“An unidentified drone fell in the Jarash area,” the report said.

Recently, the IDF reported that two drones heading towards Israel from the eastern side were destroyed in the vicinity of the Dead Sea.

As previously reported, Hezbollah Unit 127 occupies an important position in operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which poses significant problems for Israel in war situations. In recent years, Hezbollah has significantly expanded its aviation capabilities, actively developing drone technology.

This new capability allows the organization to launch precision strikes against Israeli targets, making them difficult to detect and intercept, thus increasing the threat to Israeli security.

Previously, Kursor wrote that, according to media reports, two drones approached the Israeli border in the Jordan Valley. One of the drones was shot down by a fighter jet and the second was also likely neutralized before it could cross the state border.

Both drones were destroyed before they could enter Israeli airspace.

Kursor previously wrote that a Hezbollah drone attack on an Israeli base inside, which killed four soldiers and wounded more than a dozen, underscores the growing threat Iranian drones pose to Israel. The incident was one of the most significant in the year-long conflict in the north and highlighted complex problems for Israel’s air defense system.
