The professor of Regional Geographic Analysis and director of the Climatology Laboratory of the University of Alicante, Jorge Olcinawill offer this Thursday, at 7:00 p.m., a conference at the Royal Foundation of Toledo under the title “Water planning in Spain in the context of climate change: the necessary paradigm shift”. The conference of this expert on rivers and climate change is organized by the UCLM-Soliss Tajo Chair.

Jorge Olcina studies the impacts of climate change on water availability in Spain. According to sources from the Cátedra del Tajo, it is a major broadcaster, which communicates very wellas demonstrated by the Iberian Congress of the FNCA in Murcia, “and has numerous forecast models on the central plateau and therefore on the transfer”.

In addition, she has worked intensively on territorial planning, flood risks and in recent days, due to the tragedy experienced in Valencia, Albacete and Cuenca by DANA, she has been requested by numerous media throughout the country.
