Iran’s top diplomat says communication channels with the United States remain open, a week after Donald Trump was elected president.
“There are still channels of communication between us and the Americans,” Abbas Araghchi said on the sidelines of a weekly cabinet meeting.
“We have differences with the Americans that are sometimes very fundamental and central and may not be resolved, but we have to manage them to reduce their impact and reduce tensions,” he added.
