Iran called on Pakistan to strengthen its military aviation

Iranian Air Force Commander Major General Hamid Vahidi visited Pakistan to negotiate the purchase of “JF-17 Block 3” multi-role fighter aircraft.

Oku.Az Defensesecurityasia.com reported on this.

As is known, Iran had previously tried to buy J-10C fighter jets from China, but China did not accept Iran’s offer to pay for the jets with oil. Now, Iran intends to offer Pakistan roughly the same amount of oil and buy fighter jets in return.

However, there is a serious problem. Iran does not have aircraft capable of refueling and for this reason it may be difficult to deliver the fighter jets to Iran.

It should be noted that Iran has been taking active measures to modernize and strengthen its military aviation in recent years. Taking into account the military and political situation in the region, the country’s leadership intends to increase the combat capabilities of the air force. The purchase of Pakistani-made JF-17 Block 3 aircraft serves this purpose.
