Israel hopes Iran will soon launch a massive attack from Iraqi territory, where Shiite paramilitary forces loyal to it are located.
This is reported by the Axios portal citing Israeli intelligence sources. According to their data, Tehran decided not to leave the Israeli operation “Days of Repentance” that took place on October 26 without a response.
The Jewish State learned that the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei After several days of reflection, he decided that it was impossible to ignore the Israeli attack: the image losses were too great.
It is true that the Israelis cannot accurately assess how prepared the Iranians really are for a large-scale counterattack. It is expected to involve a large number of drones and ballistic missiles.
If the attack occurs and is successful, it will mean that the results of the Israeli operation “Days of Repentance” were not as overwhelming as claimed in Tel Aviv.
At the same time, an anonymous US source told the agency that Washington does not have precise information about whether Tehran made the corresponding decision.
Previously EADaily reported that Israeli security forces detained several suspects of leaking secret information about Israel’s military plans; one of those detained could be an employee of the Prime Minister’s office; Benjamin Netanyahu.
