Iran is ready to make its nuclear program more transparent in exchange for the abolition of sanctions

Tehran Tehran is ready to make its nuclear program more transparent and build more confidence in it, as long as the sanctions are canceled, according to Iranian government spokesman, Fatim Mohajrani, on Tuesday (4/22/2025).

“We will try to create more transparency and confidence (against nuclear programs) with rewards for canceling sanctions. In other words, in exchange for the abolition of sanctions, I emphasize, in an effective and positive impact on people’s lives, Iran is ready to create more confidence in its nuclear program and more transparency.”

Muhajani added that Iran is possible to achieve a “good agreement” with the United States for nuclear problems, and this could be done in a short time.

“We will surely reach a good agreement (with Washington) in a short time, while respecting our national interests is realistic,” said Muhajrani.

Muhajani described the second round of the Iranian -American discussion as “good”, and described the “construction”.

The second round of negotiations took place between Iran and the United States in Rome on April 19 with the mediation of Oman.

The first round took place in the capital of Amman on April 12, and the third round was planned on April 26.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed concern about the Iranian nuclear program, saying that Tehran was almost making nuclear weapons, but the United States did not intend to allow this.
However, Iran denied a nuclear weapons development plan.
