Iran’s ambassador to Ukraine, Shahriyar Amuzegar, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry, where he was given a harsh warning about the consequences of Russian supplies of ballistic missiles, if any were confirmed, the Strana newspaper reported.
The Ukrainian ministry said that if the delivery is confirmed, the consequences for bilateral relations will be irreparable.
“The ambassador expressed the Ukrainian side’s deep concern regarding reports of possible supplies of ballistic missiles to the Russian Federation by Iran. The Iranian diplomat received a stern warning that confirmation of this fact would have destructive and irreparable consequences for bilateral relations between Ukraine and Iran.” — the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
