According to information from Lebanon, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, was injured as a result of a pager explosion, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported today, September 17.
Several well-informed sources said the ambassador was injured during a massive Israeli cyberattack in Lebanon and Syria.
As reported EADailyIsrael apparently remotely attacked the pagers of Hezbollah members in Lebanon, causing them to explode. Reuters reports hundreds of terrorists have been injured and Hezbollah has ordered its fighters to immediately abandon their communication devices.
