Iranian Foreign Minister visits Saudi Arabia and Qatar

The press secretary of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said today on Friday that Arakji would take part in the dialogue conference between Iran and the Arab world in Doha, before the upcoming negotiations between the United States and Iran on Sunday.

The statement published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Arakji will first go to Er -Riyad to “meet with high -ranking officials of Saudi Arabia and negotiate with them”, and then in the doh “to participate in the conference in the Arab dialog”.

The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Iran came before the upcoming visit to US President Donald Trump in the Middle East next week.

Earlier, two US administration officials said that Trump intends to declare his country’s accreditation for the name “Arab Gulf” or “Gulf of Arabs”, coinciding with his visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.

The surface of the water located off the southern coast of Iran is known as the “Persian Gulf” on a large scale from the sixteenth century, although the use of the “Arab Gulf” or “Arab Gulf” prevails in many countries of the Middle East.
