Media report that Iranian Brigadier General Mahmoud Reza Falahzadeh, deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, has been named temporary commander of Lebanese Hezbollah.
This was stated by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, citing its source in the IRGC. According to the source, the decision to appoint Falahzadeh was made personally by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
