Iranian hackers hacked Trump’s headquarters and gave data to Biden – Politico

Iranian hackers have gained access to information from Donald Trump’s campaign headquarters and sent it to Joe Biden’s team.

This was reported by Politico, citing data from the FBI and US intelligence services.

According to sources, the cyberattack targeted members of the Trump campaign and the resulting materials ended up in the hands of people associated with then-candidate Biden’s campaign.

According to US intelligence agencies, cybercriminals sent emails in June and July containing snippets of data stolen from non-public Trump campaign materials. These letters were in the possession of both Biden’s team and several US media outlets. However, Biden campaign officials stressed that the unauthorized messages were ignored and no information was provided to the senders.

Politico stresses that it is still unknown to what extent the Biden team reviewed or used the information provided by the hackers. Experts point out that this incident raises questions about the extent of the impact of cyberattacks on election campaigns in the United States, as well as the vulnerability of political organizations to outside interference.

Cursor previously reported that the person accused of trying to assassinate Trump wrote a book calling for anti-Iran action.

Ryan Wesley Routh in his book called on Iran to kill the former US president.

Cursor also wrote that Trump named those responsible for the assassination attempt.

Donald Trump said what “forced” the attacker to try to kill him.
