Iranian police attacked southerners’ homes

Yesterday, Iranian police forces raided the homes of residents of the village of Halemsi in East Azerbaijan province.

The “Telegram” channel “Azad Iran” reported about this.

According to the information, police officers who arrived in the region under the pretext of resolving the river water conflict between the two villages had an argument with a woman, then the conflict escalated with the participation of local residents.

It was reported that after the clash, Iranian security forces attacked villagers’ houses with weapons and military equipment, breaking doors, damaging cars and stealing license plates.

It was observed that the police chose to attack defenseless people instead of establishing order and resolving disputes.
