Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian intends to sign a strategic partnership agreement between his country and Russia.
Oku.AzAccording to Tasnim news agency, Abulfazl Zahravand, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Council of Iran, reported this.
“Iran and Russia are moving forward on the path of strategic cooperation and during Mr. Pezeshkian’s upcoming visit to Russia we will see the signing of a strategic partnership agreement,” Zahravand said.
It is worth recalling that the newly elected President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has repeatedly stated that the partnership with Russia is a guarantee of global security for Iran, while the United States, on the contrary, has lost its influence in this sphere.
