Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned Israel of a stronger response if the conflict escalates. This was reported by the ISNA agency on October 2.
“We are in no way seeking war. From the beginning I tried to say that we were looking for peace and tranquility, but Israel killed our guest in Tehran. They told us that if we waited, we could establish peace. If they collide, there will be no peace. We hoped for the sake of peace, but Israel became more insistent and we had to respond. “If Israel acts differently now, we will give a stronger response.” — the agency quotes the president’s statement.
According to him, Tehran aims to prevent Israel from deliberately spreading the crisis in the region. In this regard, Pezeshkian called on the United States and European countries to also prevent Israel from doing this.
“Israel must stop the brutal war against the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Lebanon.” – said the president of Iran.
