“It is possible to move capital from Tehran to Iran, although this process requires considerable manpower and resources.”
Oku.AzAccording to TASS, citing TASS, these words were spoken by Seyid Ruhulla Mousavi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s Internal Policy Committee.
“The process of relocating the capital requires a lot of effort, is complicated and will require large funds, but it is possible if the area is prepared for relocation,” Mousavi shared.
According to him, it would make sense for some ministries to relocate specialized companies to places where production is concentrated, while steel industry facilities can be located near the sea, as they require a lot of water.
It should be noted that on September 7, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared the need to move the country’s capital from Tehran to the shores of the Persian Gulf. As the Head of State noted, the problems currently facing Tehran cannot be solved in any other way.
