Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the importance of the private sector and foreign investors investing in Iran’s infrastructure projects.

Pezeshkian expressed this opinion in a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Highways, where the latest status of the country’s transportation infrastructure and regional corridors was reviewed.
At the meeting, Minister of Highways Farzaneh Sadiq highlighted the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the Russian side and presented a report on the latest status of documents and cooperation agreement with Moscow for the implementation of transportation infrastructure and regional corridors.
Listening to the explanations of the Minister of Highways and other relevant officials on the state of the country’s international railway and road corridors, the Head of State emphasized the acceleration of the implementation of the border corridor with Azerbaijan, as well as the completion of the corridor railway line North-South.
“Given the importance of these regional corridors, they should be completed as soon as possible,” Pezeshkian said.
