“My expectations from COP29 are the implementation of decisions made on a global scale. The amount of financing needed to fight climate change should increase worldwide. I believe that sensitive countries can be treated differently than other countries” .
These words were spoken by Gashbin Idris Ali, co-founder and president of the local “Assad” organization in Iraq, in his statement to AZERTAC.
Noting that a lot of support and funds must be obtained for climate-related projects, the guest expressed his gratitude to the COP29 organizers for creating the conditions for discussions in this regard.
“We are showing our designs, projects and ideas at COP29. I believe we can support global climate action efforts,” he added.
