The situation in the war between Ukraine and Russia has worsened dramatically following recent events, including the operation in the Kursk region and the missile attack on August 26. According to Ukrainian volunteers, the bridges to reconciliation have finally been burned and intense fighting is likely to continue ahead.
Gennady Druzenko, one of the volunteers, believes that the next two and a half months will be especially difficult. He believes that both sides of the conflict have relied on undermining the legitimacy of their opponents. Instead of negotiating, kyiv and Moscow, according to him, preferred to go all out, hoping for the internal collapse of the enemy.
Particular attention is paid to personal attacks by the leaders of Ukraine and Russia. Zelensky, according to Druzenko, is seeking to show Putin’s weakness, and the Kremlin’s response, the extent of which is still unknown, only aggravates the situation. In this situation, according to the volunteer, there is no talk of negotiations or de-escalation, at least until mid-November.
Earlier, Kursor wrote that the media reported that the latest Russian attack on Ukraine was unusual.
During a combined attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, the Russian Armed Forces used unusual tactics.
On Monday, August 26, Russian troops carried out one of the largest attacks on the territory of Ukraine, involving Tu-95 and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers. According to Defense Express, the attack featured a number of anomalies, including the unexpected use of full ammunition on the aircraft.
