On October 31, a fire broke out in a multi-story residential building in the city of Khirdalan, Absheron region (Absheron Youth Village), and the fire was quickly extinguished.
“Qafqazinfo” reports that the fire that broke out on social media is claimed to have been caused by covering the building with flammable material. In this sense, the video says that alcopan coating was applied to the building.
We sent a request to the relevant state authorities for answers to the growing allegations. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an examination will be carried out on the facade of the burning building:
“By taking a sample from the facade of the mentioned building, the degree of fire resistance of the material will be determined by corresponding examination. In addition, an official appeal was made to the relevant local executive authority in March of this year. year regarding cladding of buildings with fire-resistant materials.”
The Executive Branch of the Absheron District reported that the issue will be investigated and responded to.
It should be noted that in 2008-2009, the Absheron Youth City was built, consisting of 30 buildings.
