Is the teacher transfer process becoming a “business”? – OFFICIAL RESPONSE

Yesterday, a post was published on social media about some people who turned the process of transferring teachers into a “business” and claimed that they would “respect” the transfer.

Modern.az has contacted the State Agency for Preschool and General Education (MÜTDA) on the issue.

The institution reported that the mutual change of workplace of teachers working in state general education institutions is carried out by the Ministry of Science and Education, in a centralized manner, through software:

“Teachers who wish to participate in the process must register by visiting the website mig.edu.az/qy/. In the process of changing the workplace of teachers, those who have worked as a teacher for at least 1 academic year under an open regime may participate. Those who have a terminated contract in state general education institutions and have at least 5 hours of teaching at said workplace, who have the workload and the results of the teacher selection exam or diagnostic assessment, defined as 30 points. The teacher has the right to transfer once during one academic year.

In the end, it was found that the process carried out centrally, through the software, is completely free.
