Images have circulated on social networks about the inadequate alignment of the Circle Zigh-Airport highway.
According to “Qafqazinfo”, well-known mechanic Sahil Agabayli shared images about it.
He claimed that thick broken lines were drawn on the road near the Hovsan Complex of the State Housing Construction Agency (MIDA) in the said area. However, when returning from here, it is only possible to turn right to go to the port of Zira Deniz and the social houses:
“After passing here, the entire road is separated by a straight line. If we want to turn towards Zira while heading towards the Uzü Gala settlement, we have to go to the end of the road, where it is marked with a dashed line. It creates a accident situation.”

Regarding the issue, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency said that the images were filmed while technical work was being carried out in the area and the work was not completely completed:
“Currently, adequate conditions have been created for the free and safe circulation of vehicles in said area.”
