The hearing was held on the criminal case against Bahruz Askarov, accused of attempted murder of the chief executive of Lankara.
Oku.AzAccording to information from the Baku Serious Crimes Court, the prosecutor announced the indictment of the accused at the first review session chaired by Sabuhi Huseynov. Bahruz Askarov pleaded guilty to the charges against him. Although he was promised that he would testify freely in court, Bahruz Askarov refused. In the next trial, scheduled for December 3, it was decided to hear the testimony of the victim and witnesses.
It should be noted that during the investigations carried out in the State Criminal Investigation Department, Bahruz Alimammad oglu Askarov, born in 1988, came into contact with other people and killed people in order to disrupt public security on the territory of Azerbaijan, create panic among the population and influence the decision-making of state authorities and international organizations and was detained on suspicion of preparing to commit a terrorist act accompanied by actions that threatened the emergence of other socially dangerous consequences.
According to the indictment, Bahruz Askarov involved people living in different regions of Azerbaijan in a secret relationship and instructed them to organize an assassination attempt on the life of the head of the executive branch of the city of Lankaran.
