In eastern Germany, in the town of Fürstenwald (Brandenburg), the Islamic centre Al-Salam was identified, which has connections to the terrorist groups Muslim Brotherhood and the terrorist organisation Hamas.
“BILD” reports on this.
Regional authorities, headed by Interior Minister Michael Stübgen, announced a ban on the centre’s activities. During the operation, searches were carried out at the centre itself as well as in private apartments in Brandenburg and Berlin.
The decision to close the Islamic center was part of broader efforts to combat terrorism and prevent the financing of terrorist organizations.
Earlier, Kursor reported that an Islamist attacked a police station in Germany.
The attacker, armed with a machete, threatened German police while shouting “Allahu Akbar.”
