Palestinian radical organization “Islamic Jihad”* announced that it had launched a missile attack on the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon. The corresponding statement was published today, October 6, in the CT of the movement’s military wing, the Saraya al-Quds group.
“We launched a missile attack against Ashkelon and other Israeli settlements located on the border with the Gaza Strip,” – says the text.
The IDF confirmed rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. According to him, one missile was intercepted and the rest fell in open areas. There are no reports of casualties.
