According to the information, Israel’s political-military cabinet will review the terms of the agreement on November 26. Under the agreement, a US-led monitoring committee will be established. This committee will monitor the implementation of the agreement and take measures to eliminate possible violations.
The United States will also provide support and guarantees to Israel to conduct military operations against threats from Lebanon. This includes not restoring Hezbollah’s military presence near the border and preventing weapons smuggling.
Under the agreement, Israel will be able to resume military operations after consultations with the United States and if the Lebanese army does not eliminate threats.
The parties are discussing a draft US-brokered ceasefire agreement, which provides for a 60-day transition period in which the Israeli army will withdraw from southern Lebanon and the Lebanese army will deploy to border areas. “Hezbollah” should move its heavy weapons and formations north of the Litani River, 30 kilometers from the border.
“Israel has preliminarily approved the proposed ceasefire agreement with Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement.”
