Najm urged the population of the province of Hebron to “attend Fajr prayer and eid al -fitr tomorrow, emphasizing our determination and resilience to treat the occupation of trial plans.”

The Ibrahimi Mosque is located in the Old City of Hebron in the south of the West Bank, which is under the occupation of Israel. This mosque houses about 400 illegal settlers guarded by about 1,500 Israeli troops.
In 1994, following the massacre of illegal colonists who killed 29 Palestinian pilgrims, Israel divided the mosque, allocating 63% of its territory for Jews, including prayer rooms and 37% for Muslims.
The tensions increased throughout the West Bank, more than 940 Palestinians were killed and almost 7,000 were injured in Israeli troops attacks and illegal settlers since the beginning of the Gaza attack on October 7, 2023, according to the Ministry of Health.
The International Court of Justice stated that the occupied Israeli occupation that had long been in the Palestinian territory as illegal in July, called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem.
