Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, returning from a trip to Albania and Serbia, made a series of loud statements about the situation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that what is happening there is a genocide that has become a shame for all humanity.

Erdogan noted that Israel represents a real threat not only to regional but also global security. He said world leaders who have taken the responsibility of maintaining peace must take immediate steps to eliminate this threat.
The Turkish leader said those who support Israel, which he called a “Zionist terrorist organization,” will bear moral responsibility for their actions for generations. He also expressed confidence that the plans of Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, will fail and that the Palestinian Authority and Lebanon will maintain their freedom.
Erdogan spoke about Israel’s destabilizing role in the region, emphasizing that its actions are directed not only against the Palestinian Authority and Lebanon, but also at creating a larger crisis in the region. The Turkish president noted that his government is aware of such threats and is taking measures to prevent them.
The Turkish leader paid special attention to the importance of the work of the intelligence services, which, according to him, closely follow every Israeli step that threatens Turkey. He also thanked British musician Roger Waters and former Greek Economy Minister Yanis Varoufakis for their public stance on the situation in Gaza, highlighting their contribution to raising awareness of what was happening.
Concluding his speech, Erdogan said his country will continue to actively use diplomatic and legal mechanisms to hold Israel accountable for its actions in Gaza.
