Israel wages psychological war ahead of retaliatory attack on Iran: media

Israel is entering a phase of active psychological warfare ahead of a possible retaliatory strike against Iran. The tactic is reminiscent of Tehran’s actions before its previous attacks on Israel.

IsraelInfo writes about this.

On Wednesday afternoon it emerged that the inevitability of harsh retaliatory measures was being actively discussed in military and political circles in Jerusalem. Israeli officials confirm they are prepared for the operation.

According to Channel 12, the Northern Command headquarters has already identified targets for the next attacks, indicating a high degree of preparedness by the IDF. Meanwhile, Channel 13 reports that the attack could take place in the coming days, as preparations are completely finished and a strike is almost inevitable.

The decision on further actions was discussed in a meeting between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. While Blinken called for restraint in actions, he affirmed Israel’s right to self-defense.

Statements were made from the UN rostrum about Iran’s willingness to respond to any “aggressive” action by Israel. The Iranian envoy to the UN noted that his country did not initiate attacks against Israel, but only responded within the framework of international law. Tehran accuses Israel of committing crimes with the support of the United States.

Reports that the exchange of attacks could lead to a full-scale war in the Middle East. While no one can say with certainty when or how exactly the conflict will peak, tensions continue to rise.

Previously, Kursor wrote about how Iran would react to Israel’s retaliatory strike.

Iran can respond to an Israeli retaliatory attack immediately after it occurs.
