This attack was declared in response to violence against the Druzi minority.
“A few moments ago, fighters attacked the area near the Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa palace in Damascus,” the Israeli defense force (IDF) said in a brief statement.
Al-Sharaa, also known as Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, headed the Coalition of the Islamic forces that overthrew President Bashar al-Assad in December 2024.
The quick capture of the capital and other cities in Western Syria was accompanied by the massaces of Druze, Christianity and Loyalist Assad.
According to the reports Al JaziraLast Monday in the city of Jaraman and Sakhnai, South Damascus, a collision broke out after an audioclip clip spread on social networks, where the man criticized the Prophet Muhammad.
The audio recording was associated with the scientist Druz, who denied responsibility.
