Israeli media began to acknowledge the damage caused by Iran’s missile attack.

Information has begun to appear in Israeli media indicating damage caused by yesterday’s massive Iranian missile attack. In the central region’s dormitory town of Hod Hasharon, authorities said about 100 houses were damaged.

No casualties were reported, says Israeli army radio Galei IDF.

“Serious damage was reported in Hod Hasharon as a result of the Iranian attack: around 100 houses were damaged, some of them seriously. “No one was hurt.” – the radio station said in a message.

The main damage was caused by the blast wave and anti-missile fragments. A historic building was destroyed by a direct hit, clarifies newsru.co.il.

As reported EADaily yesterday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran’s missile attack “failed thanks to Israeli air defense and US assistance.”

Late in the afternoon of October 1, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israeli territory in response to attacks against leaders of pro-Iran groups. The IRGC said the attack targeted military and intelligence facilities in Israel, in particular three military bases. Tehran called its actions justified and the attacks a success. Iranian publications reported significant damage that the Israeli Air Force managed to inflict: Shafaqna writes about the destruction of 20 F-35 fighters, FARS claims that 80% of the missiles fired hit their targets.
