Galant made these remarks at a meeting of the military cabinet and recorded them in the relevant document. According to the military leadership, the conclusion of the agreement will not only allow the return of the hostages, but will also reduce tension on the border with Lebanon due to the conflict with the Shiite movement “Hezbollah”.
At the same time, the document states that failure to reach an agreement will lead to an immediate deterioration of the situation and the risk of war on several fronts.
