The commander of the Israeli Air Force, Major General Tomer Bar, said the main task of the troops assigned to him will be to prevent Iran from providing weapons to the Hezbollah movement.
Oku.Az reports that “The Times of Israel” quoted Bar’s speech to the officers:
“Now, taking into account what Hezbollah has lost, we intend to prevent the possibility of sending weapons from Iran to Lebanon. This mission will be the first in a series of priorities,” the major general stressed.
Furthermore, he stated that the Air Force is ready to assist the Northern Military District of the Israel Defense Forces if it is ordered to launch a ground attack against Lebanon.
