Today is the birthday of one of the beloved figures of Azerbaijani culture, the master of artistic recitation, talented actress, People’s Artist Amina Yusifgiz.

Amina Yusifgizi, who started working at the Theatre for Young Spectators since her school years, achieved great success in a short time thanks to her talent and hard work. She won the sympathy of the audience by skillfully playing various characters here.
In 1958-1974, the artist worked at the National Academic Drama Theatre and played memorable roles in more than 100 plays. The roles he played in the plays of Shakespeare, Huseyn Javid, Jafar Jabbarli and other world and Azerbaijani classics are still reflected in the golden pages of theatre history today.
Since 1974, Amina Yusifgizi, who works in the field of dubbing and voice acting at the Azerbaijanfilm film studio, has lent her voice to more than 200 films. The characters she plays are among the most beloved in our cinema.
She wrote “Pan compartida” (Shared Bread), “Por qué silenciáis” (Why are you silent?), “Niños de nuestra calle” (Children of our street), “Profesora de música” (Music Teacher) and others. She has also acted in films and television shows.
Amina Yusifgizi also gained great fame as a professional artistic recitation teacher. She was an invaluable participant in poetry and music evenings and various events. Her poems are memorized in languages even today.
