Today is the birthday of popular artist, jazzman Javan Zeynalli.
Oku.Az Remember that Javan Zeynalli was born on September 29, 1945 in Baku.
He first graduated from the 7-year music school and in 1967 he graduated from the music technical school named after A. Zeynalli. That same year he entered the singing faculty of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli. After graduating from the conservatory in 1972, he worked as a soloist at the Azerbaijan State Song Theater.
In 1976 he worked as a soloist and vocalist in the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic.
In 1979-2001 he was soloist of the “Gaya” State Ensemble. Together with the “Gaya” ensemble he toured many foreign countries and represented with dignity the examples of Azerbaijani pop art.
The musician has gained a large army of fans with his unique sonorous timbre, playing style and aura.
He participated in International Jazz Festivals held in Baku, Moscow, Latvia, Germany and Poland. He performed three solo concerts at the Baku Jazz Center.
