During his last campaign meeting, this Monday, he was already convinced of his victory: “I think we should be able to do it quite easily. “It’s totally in our hands.” In his speech, he criticized the slowness of the machines that will read the election results. “What’s going on inside these machines?” We want the answer tomorrow, tonight,” he declared, eager to sow doubt about the results.
But the count has tilted from the start in favor of the mogul, who managed to win in places where Joe Biden won but where Harris failed to win, like in Pennsylvania.
“This is an unprecedented movement, the most important political movement in history,” Trump said: “We are going to help our country. We’re going to fix our borders, we’re going to fix everything that’s wrong with our country. We wrote history for a reason, we overcame all obstacles and achieved something incredible. “This is a victory that allows us to make America great again.”
