“It’s almost done,” says Liam Gallagher

The unpredictable Liam Gallagher announced the return of the legendary Britpop group Oasisof which he is a part with his brother Noël, will be accompanied by the publication of a new album.

There was no big media campaign to announce it. Simply, to a question from a user of the social network X about the rumors of a new album, the singer of the group answered: “Yes, and it’s almost finished”.

The group’s return to the stage will be, for the moment, ephemeral, since as Noel and Liam Gallagher explained in a press release published on the aforementioned social network, they will only play 14 concerts in the UK and Ireland in the summer of 2025. A tour that will pass through, among other cities, London, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin.

However, at the time Liam Gallagher was responding to fan messages on his X account, wondering if the band would tour USAThe singer seemed to answer in the affirmative: “Yes, I’m there right now, I love it.”

The tour will kick off at Cardiff’s Principal Stadium on 4th and 5th July and will continue in Manchester on 11th, 12th, 19th and 20th at Heaton Park. The final shows of the month will take place on 24th and 25th at Wembley Stadium in London.

The same stadium will host the month of August with concerts on the 2nd and 3rd, which will continue on the 8th and 9th at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Finally, the Gallagher brothers will end their tour at Croke Park in Dublin on the 16th and 17th of August.

Oasis’ last album was Dig your soulof 2008. A year later, the duo split up, after the two brothers’ continued and angry disagreements, who launched their solo careers. Since then, rumors of their reunion have been circulating over the years, but it is only today that they announce their return to the stage.
