It’s non-stop

As a victim of terrorism, I feel powerless, outraged, insulted, helpless but unfortunately not surprised. One day they put your brother’s killer on the street and the next day they negotiate the citizen security law with the heirs of Batasuna. Without forgetting the unbearable tributes to terrorists, to which we will never get used, as well as so many other injustices in the world of ETA, which circulates freely, without weapons, but with command in the square. And not in just any square, but in the one where the fate of the Spaniards is decided. Almost nothing! And all this is done by the philoetarras without having confessed their sins, completed their penance and above all without having had the intention of amending them. Here, the only thing that these wolves in sheep’s clothing want to change, thanks to the power of votes that cost the majority of Spaniards blood, sweat and tears, is the Citizen Security Law. That? Yes, that is exactly it, that those who, with their complicity, have supported years of terrorism, will develop the standard that will guarantee our security. And I wonder: where were these human rights defenders on demand while ETA was murdering hundreds of police officers, civil guards and so many other victims of terrorism? They certainly did not condemn him any more than they do today. And now they are giving us a new slap of indignity, I assure you that it is unbearable to see how those who manipulate freedom and security at will are not capable of recognizing that these terrorists, whom they glorify with photos and banners in the demonstrations, are not They are more than murderers, who wanted to end the security and freedom of all Spaniards. Therefore, what we see is not only an offense to the victims of ETA, especially to all the murdered children who, before the explosion of the bombs, were playing and laughing in the courtyard of the barracks of Zaragoza or Vic , or accompanied their parents. the Hipercor of Barcelona, or like Silvia, who danced in her house in Santa Pola, but a mockery for all Spaniards. These and many other crimes that Bildu wants to erase because the past weighs, or not, who knows, if the terrorists are heroes for too many people, their heirs can also keep their heads high in our Spain which has lost his way. But fortunately, many of us have not lost our memories and we continue to mourn these innocent children and with them the 879 murdered by ETA and the thousands injured, kidnapped, extorted and forced into exile. And on behalf of all we denounce this new affront represented by the reform of the Security Law agreed with which until recently designated those who could be targets of ETA. Amazing, right? Well, in these times of moral turpitude, one can always fall lower if power is at stake. They could have already asked those who announce with great fanfare the changes to this law, that they would begin by condemning the terrorism of ETA before starting to amend a security law and that they would demand that terrorists collaborate with justice to elucidate the 378 crimes that remain outstanding. Related News EDITORIAL Opinion No Bildu criticizes the police ABC Editorial It constitutes a direct insult to the victims of ETA and to the citizens of Spanish democracy that Bildu is the one who prescribes the functioning of the police forces. I still want to believe that this is one of those hoaxes that is so popular and that our leaders will come to deny, but I fear that is not the case, because he who remains silent grants it. What is not funny at all, as my father would say, is that this law has the police as the protagonist and I think of the 150 police officers murdered by ETA, who sacrificed their lives, alongside hundreds of guards civilians and military, for our security and our freedom. All that remains is for us to be helpless witnesses of how his honor and protection are exchanged to satisfy those who will never be satisfied until they see a Spain humiliated to the extreme. Today it is time to ignore the police, tomorrow who knows.—Teresa Jiménez-Becerril is first deputy to the Ombudsman, former deputy of the PP and sister of Alberto Jiménez-Becerril, PP councilor of Seville assassinated by the ETA in 1998 with his wife. , Ascension Garcia.
