IV meeting of health ministers of member and observer countries of the TDT: Bilateral meetings were held

The fifth meeting of health ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) will be held in Kazakhstan.

According to “Report”, the decision was made today at the fourth meeting of ministers, which ended with the signing of the joint declaration.

The Ministers of Health agreed to create a single medical scientific space for DTT member and observer countries, conduct joint scientific research, prepare uniform standards for medical education, provide continuing education to medical specialists, and accelerate the application of medical technologies. information and communication in the health system. .

In addition, it was decided to exchange information about patients by preparing uniform electronic healthcare standards within the organization.

At the same time, the Action Plan of the TDT Working Group on cooperation in the field of health for 2025 was approved.

Stressing that transplantology is one of the fastest growing branches of modern medicine, the minister drew attention to the importance of the signed document on the creation of a joint system.

In turn, the health ministers of the TDT member and observer countries pointed out that today’s meeting is an important step towards strengthening cooperation in the field of health. During the meetings, the importance of joint programs and initiatives in the field of prevention of infectious diseases, development of the pharmaceutical industry and ensuring the safety of medicines was highlighted. Interest was also expressed in strengthening cooperation in the field of health digitalization and medical tourism.

Highlighting the nature of the signed documents and decisions taken during the meeting, the health ministers of the Organization’s member and observer countries highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s initiative to create the Turktransplant system.

The document includes the establishment of intensive relations between the parties, the conduct of scientific research, the improvement of knowledge and skills of medical workers operating in these specialties, the exchange of personnel and the promotion and strengthening of beneficial cooperation.

The IV meeting of health ministers of the member and observer countries of the organization is held in the city of Shusha, under the joint organization of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) and the Ministry of Health.
