The US ambassador to Georgia, Robin Dunigan, believes that the founder of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, puts her own interests before the interests of the people of Georgia.
“He puts his personal financial interests above the interests of the people of Georgia,” – said Dunigan on RadioTavisupleba.
According to the US ambassador, “it is worrying that a person who controls the government and the ruling party in this country refuses to meet with international parties and strategic partners due to his misperception of the financial sanctions that have been imposed on him.”
Previously, the US Embassy in Georgia stated that the United States did not impose sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili and her family members.
