Brazil’s federal police officially charged the former president Jair Bolsonaro for his alleged participation in a coup attempt after the defeat of the 2022 presidential elections, according to a press release published this Thursday. Police added that 36 other people were also charged, including Bolsonaro’s former justice and defense ministers, as well as the country’s former navy chief.
