The trial against Javid Isayev, 36, accused of the murder of his wife in Shaki, has concluded.
According to “Qafqazinfo”, the final decision was announced at the session held at the Sheki Serious Crimes Court.

The investigation established that Javid killed his nephew Asif Hashimov, 41, for insulting his sister (also the deceased’s wife). Their discussion on this topic continued in the empty area on the outskirts of the town. At that time, Asif again used inappropriate words towards her and her sister. Unable to control his emotions, Javid stabbed his aunt several times and died instantly. He voluntarily surrendered to police after the incident.
The defendant told the investigator during the investigation that after returning from the war he had mental problems. If you do not take your medications on time, your condition worsens. According to him, that day he was in a tense situation. Experts also confirmed that he suffered from mental illness. The doctor wrote in his opinion that the defendant committed the crime in a senseless state.
After examining the case, the court chaired by Khaliq Mammadov found the doctor’s opinions and the decision of the investigative body to be reasonable. According to the decision, Javid Isayev was exempt from criminal responsibility and punishment for the murder of his wife in a senseless situation. He was involved in mandatory treatment at the Republican Psychiatric Hospital.
It should be remembered that a few days ago the same decision was made regarding Ahmet Ahmadov, accused of murdering members of his family.
