The fight against gender violence, cybercrime, organized crime in all its forms and the uniformed police presence in the streets, “collaborating at all times with the judiciary”, will be the priorities of the new senior chief of the national police from Madrid, Javier Galvan.

This was promised during his inauguration speech, organized this morning at the headquarters of the Government delegation in Madrid. And to reduce the number of victims of gender violence, they will influence training in all UFAM units.

“I also promise confidence to the municipalities. I will visit the mayors to learn directly about their needs and concerns. I will meet with groups and associations to receive their requests and contributions. I will also devote part of my work to my police officers. We will work without problem but with determination,” he said.

Galván thanked the commanders for the trust they placed in him, the collaboration with other police forces, his time at Internal Affairs, as well as his family for their support and kept a remembrance for the fallen police members on the spot. of service. And finally, he recalled the police values ​​that he has assumed since entering the Ávila school: “service, dignity, dedication and loyalty”.
