Oku.Az informs the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov He said this during his speech at the High Level Panel titled “Climate and Peace: Working together to leave no one behind” within the framework of the COP29 conference.
The minister noted that these events often serve as a catalyst for conflicts that lead to increasing instability:
“The devastating effects of conflict and its consequences on infrastructure, land degradation and biodiversity will exacerbate the climate crisis and create a vicious cycle that undermines peace, stability and development.”
