“We believe that France, which is considered one of the leading countries in the climate field and one of the leading countries in the European Union, remaining on the sidelines of the climate issue under any pretext is a wrong step.”

He noted that Azerbaijan did not use the tense relations and disagreements between France and Azerbaijan as an excuse:
“We had events before the COP. There were informal meetings, French representatives were invited and participated in each of them. Our team also worked with them constructively and held negotiations. However, it is your decision to make a decision or not” .
