Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braje on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Oku.Az reports that this was shared on the official “X” account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The foreign ministers also discussed preparations for COP29, the post-conflict situation in the region and Azerbaijan’s peace efforts.
