Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov participated in the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement at the 79th Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
Oku.Az reports that this was shared on the official “X” account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting highlighted the role of the Non-Aligned Movement as a true defender of justice and the rule of law in international relations.
“Azerbaijan remains committed to further enhancing the role and significance of the Non-Aligned Movement as an active member of the Non-Aligned Movement Troika, along with its chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement in 2019-2023, as well as its continued efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the Movement and its sustainable solution should remain a priority on the Movement’s agenda until it is resolved in accordance with relevant UN resolutions, norms and principles of international law,” the post said.
