Jon Bon Jovi convinced a woman not to commit suicide during a video shoot

The frontman of the American rock band Bon Jovi, Jon Bon Jovi, dissuaded a woman from committing suicide during the filming of a music video, according to Page Six.

This happened in the city of Nashville. According to the publication, the recording from a city police camera, which was posted on YouTube, shows how the musician and a passerby approach a woman who is about to commit suicide. They talk to her for a while and then take her to a safe place.

YouTube, in accordance with its rules, has removed this video.

However, the portal notes that the musician has professional experience in negotiating with people in crisis situations. An informed source also confirmed that Bon Jovi was in this same place at the time of the incident, preparing to film a music video for the song People’s House. The source is confident that the rocker will not comment on the situation out of respect for the anonymity of the rescued woman.

Bon Jovi was founded in New Jersey in 1983. Bon Jovi has released 16 studio albums, six compilation albums and two live albums. In total, their albums sold 130 million copies. During their career they gave more than 2.6 thousand concerts in 50 countries. In 2006, the group was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame and in 2018 into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jon Bon Jovi himself and former band member Richie Sambora were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009.
