After Pedro Sánchez announced this Wednesday morning that the autonomies will have more resources to achieve fair financingJorge Azcón responded clearly and concisely: “It’s a lie.”

Likewise, as in his speeches in recent days, he has expressed his categorical rejection of the Catalan quota and the “privileged” financing for Catalonia, with which Pedro Sanchez, according to him, only seeks “power.”

The leader of the Aragonese Executive stressed that these privileges harm the rest of the communities: “If there were more funding for public services in Catalonia, “There is less money to finance public services in Aragon.”

“It’s a financing that is not very supportive and that breaks equality between all Spaniards”, Azcón continued. He also reiterated his wish that an agreement be reached in Aragon between all political formations “of all colours” to defend the Community and be “an example throughout Spain”.

Words of joy

On the other hand, the president of the DGA also reacted to the statements of the minister spokesperson of the National Executive, Pilar Alegría, in which she compares the single financing of Catalonia with the incentives for Teruel. “This is a sly joke” declared about them.

Azcón stressed the fact that an Aragonese woman is unaware of what is happening in her country and in Teruel: “She must know that what this aid means economically for the functioning of Teruel is 8 million euros and financing in Catalonia 30 billion euros”. For this reason, he reiterates, it is a “joke” with “the intention of deceiving the Aragonese.”

In conclusion on this subject, Jorge Azcón affirms that Pilar Alegría It is necessary to rectify, go to Teruel and explain to the people of Teruel because he considers them to be “unsupportive or seeking inequality.”
