Jorge Martin exhibits at Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez returns to Misano

A wonderful start and then knowing how to keep Pecco Bagnaia at a distance were the keys to the victory of Jorge Martin in the sprint race in the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. A blow on the table for the Spaniard at his rival, who he leads by 26 points in the MotoGP general classification thanks to his fifth victory in Saturday’s test. The Italian and Franco Morbidelli completed the podium by achieving their first box in the format on Saturday.

Jorge Martin, who started from fourth position, headed to the right to squeeze between Franco Morbidelli and Pecco Bagnaia until you reach the first corner first. He braked later than everyone else, took first place in the first corner and, from there, started to attack harder than anyone else, as if it were a qualifying session.

Marc Marquezninth party, completed a big comeback which brought him to fifth place after passing Jack Miller, Brad Binder and Pedro Acostawhom he overtook on the last lap. His comeback ended there, as he had no option to join Enea Bastianini. Now, both are tied in the general classification with 234 points and 77 behind Jorge Martín.
