Juan Roig launches the ‘Alcem-se’ initiative with 25 million euros in aid to companies affected by DANA

Marina de Empresas, a hub of entrepreneurship and innovation promoted by the president of Mercadona, Juan Roig, launched the “Alcem-se” platform, with a total allocation of 25 million eurosintended to help SMEs, businesses, startups and freelancers affected by DANA.

The objective of the initiative is to reactivate “as soon as possible“the economic fabric of the affected areas, in order to try to reduce “as much as possible” the number of businesses that close, as reported by the entity in a press release to which laSexta had access.

To speed up the procedures, affected persons interested in receiving assistance (companies with between one and 15 employees, i.e. approximately) will have to fill out a form activated on the platform where they can express their needs, such as advice on locating suppliers of machines or materials, to attract new customers and reactivate sales or directly financial assistance.

Following the request, technicians from EDEM, Lanzadera and Angels They will evaluate each case presented and they will prescribe to whom help can be offered and how it materializes: from meetings with specialists to direct financial aid, which will be non-refundable and can reach 10,000 euros.

In addition to this direct support from Marina de Empresas, the “Alcem-se” platform will also be an aggregator of solidarity initiatives launched over the last two weeks by different groups and associations. All They share the goal of helping, in one way or another, to businesses affected by the floods.
